“Guided Tanzania Culture & Wildlife“
An opportunity to experience a part of Tanzanian culture and its wildlife. This safari introduces you to one of the local cultures of Northern Tanzania, their social and economic activities, followed by a visit to some of the most beautiful national parks found in Tanzania.Itinerary
Day 1: KIA to Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet your driver who will be waiting at the arrivals hall after immigration procedures and baggage claim. He will then transfer you to your accommodation for the night, booked on Bed and Breakfast.DAY 2: Mt.Meru Trek and Cultural visit
Today you have a day full of activities, starting with a hike at the foothills of Mt. Meru for a few hours. Mt. Meru stands at 4,568 meters and is the second-highest mountain found inside Arusha National Park. The trek will end with packed lunch, before heading out for a cultural experience at Mulala. A typical setting on the southern slopes of Meru, the village lies at 1,700m above sea level with beautiful scenery of lush green vegetation dotted with small farms. Have a real traditional experience; enjoy some cooking lessons, and participate in traditional coffee preparation along with cultural songs and dances. In the evening you will drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.DAY 3: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
The journey will take you through Arusha Town, and out to the open Masailand as you head to Tarangire National Park, about a 2 hours drive. On the way, you might see Masai grazing their cattle, goats, and sheep. The park covers an area of approximately 2,600 square kilometers and is famous for its huge number of elephants. Enjoy a full-day game drive with packed lunch at a picnic site.DAY 4: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Manyara National Park, a distance of 70 kilometers from Tarangire. Smaller in size compared to the other Northern Tanzania Parks, Lake Manyara National Park is small but quite interesting. A good spot for bird watchers, you can expect to see over 100 species of birds and quite a variety of animals and if you are lucky, including the famous tree-climbing lions. In the late afternoon after the game drive, you will head back to Arusha.****End of service**DAY 5: Transfer to Arusha Airport
After four days well spent in Northern Tanzania Parks, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at Arusha Airport in good time for your flight.****End of service**
