“A Budget Tanzania Experience“
A budget safari adventure in the heart of northern Tanzania. Experience majestic wildlife and varying landscapes as you visit an elephant haven and a unique lake national park that never ceases to amaze. This tour starts and ends in Tanzania, it gives the traveler chance to visit three main national parks in Tanzania, these include Ngorongoro Conservation Area which is a conservation area, and the UNESCO World Heritage site, its located 180 km from Arusha and it has the Ngorongoro crater as its main tourist attraction. The park is famous for the black rhinos, hippos, cape buffalos, common Eland, Blue wildebeest, waterbuck, topis, crocodiles, Impalas, and the African leopards. The same safari also takes you to Tarangire National Park which is one of the largest parks in Tanzania and it’s located in the southwest of Lake Manyara it covering an area of 2850km. its landscape is covered by Baobab trees, high grasses as well as dense bush. The park is also famous for elephants, waterbuck, wildebeests, giraffes, olive baboons as well as baobab tree-climbing lions. Lake Manyara national park is also part of the tour, Lake Manyara National Park is the most dramatically located park consisting of the huge and shallow Soda Lake at the foot of the Great Rift Valley.Itinerary
DAY 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha
You will be picked up at the airport or hotel and driven straight to your accommodation in Arusha. Arusha is served by two airports. Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) is approximately 60 km (45min) from Arusha city center. Arusha Municipal Airport (ARK) is on the outskirts of Arusha but only runs domestic flights, mostly to Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam.DAY 2: Tarangire National Park
DAY 2: Tarangire National Park We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 am and after being familiar with the guide, chef & other clients we will drive to Tarangire national park (2hr drive) famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees & having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. – We will do a game drive through the park depending on where they are reported sightings of animals (mostly predators, lions, cheetah & leopards as they are harder to spot) as herbivores (giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, etc are plenty to see through the park. – Later on, will go to the Tarangire river picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river & animals while having lunch, small monkeys & baboons will try to scare you off your lunch but there is nothing to worry about. – After lunch will proceed with the game drive and exit the park around 4:30 pm where will head to our accommodationDAY 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara National Park (2 hours drive) with packed lunch boxes. On arrival, go for a full-day game drive until early evening. This is a small but very beautiful park offering breathtaking views, excellent game viewing, and an incredible array of birdlife. You have a chance to spot zebra, baboon, warthog, giraffe, impala, elephant, hippo, wildebeest, and the rare tree-climbing lion . The park is a game watcher’s paradise, full of endemic species. You can also expect to see various animals like elephants, hippos, impala, dik-dik, bushbuck, and if you a lucky, the famous tree-climbing lions of Manyara. After the game drive, you will proceed to your accommodation.DAY 4: Arusha to Kilimanjaro International Airport
Your driver will drop you off at Kilimanjaro International Airport in good time for your flight.****End of service**
